She may seem like a far cry from previous Armani models, but Beyoncé Knowles has been chosen to be the new face of Armani’s Diamonds. Diamonds is a new scent by the famed Italian designer, and this perfume has already started to sell like, well, diamonds.
Diamonds, the fragrance, features notes of raspberry, freesia, lily of the valley, cedar wood and amber. Many reviewers have found that Diamonds screams confidence, which is why this scent would be perfect for the corporate world. Diamonds is slightly fruity, but it also has a feminine touch that really lingers once you leave a room. Perhaps that is why Armani choose “Ms. Bootylicious” to represent the new fragrance. Beyoncé is known for being extremely confident while still exuding feminine glory – and that is just what this fragrance projects. Diamonds is available at most department stores around the nation, and it retails for $39.50 (1.7 oz). Incidentally, Armani has also recently enlisted the help of soccer star David Beckham.
